W Powerskin Veloce Open Back – Women's Open-Back Competition Swimsuit
Veloce is a versatile new suit suitable for all swimming strokes and distances. It meets the needs of swimmers who prioritise maximum comfort without compromising on compression. The suit supports the muscles while allowing plenty of freedom of movement.
The suit's Hyperforce™ fabric is tensoelastic (tension + elasticity): firm yet flexible. Veloce combines medium compression throughout with durability and an entirely new kind of stretch. The suit feels pleasant to wear and does not restrict movement.
The Hyperforce™ fabric has a flow-directing surface that reduces water resistance and improves glide. The fabric is a naturally water-repellent TPU fibre, which further enhances hydrodynamics. Thanks to this material, the suit can be recycled at the end of its life.
The front of the suit features the X-tape structure familiar from Arena's Carbon Glide suit, built into the inside. The X-shaped taping supports and stabilises the core and connects the upper body to the hips. The taping helps you notice if your body rotates too far during the stroke and guides you back into an economical, streamlined swimming position.
Sturdy taping runs along the inside of the back of the suit over the buttocks and rear thighs. This taping lifts the hips and legs, eases leg extension and helps maintain the correct swimming position when fatigued. The lift from the taping is especially noticeable during turns and the dolphin kick.
The new Flex-Max straps are wider. With a flexible base and edge, the straps stay flat against the shoulders without folding. The greater width allows better pressure distribution, reducing strain on the shoulder (trapezius) and minimising restriction. The result is improved mobility, reduced fatigue and greater overall comfort. A silicone band at the leg opening keeps the leg in place.
The stretchy suit is easy to put on, significantly speeding up race-day routines. Veloce can be put on in five minutes, whereas a traditional competition suit could take 30–45 minutes. Still, choose the same size as your previous Arena competition suit or follow the size chart. The speed of putting the suit on does not indicate the correct fit. The flexible Veloce is comfortable to wear while still providing higher compression.
Veloce is available in two different lengths, according to torso length. The longer length is available in sizes 30–34.

Care instructions: hand wash in cold water with a mild soap after every use. Allow to dry naturally. Do not tumble dry.
