Primo is the world's first tensoelastic competition swimsuit, combining powerful compression with exceptional stretch in an entirely new way. The suit supports the muscles while giving plenty of freedom of movement. This versatile new suit is suited to all swimming strokes and distances.
The suit is the result of several years of development and research by arena, carried out in close cooperation with elite swimmers. It cannot be compared to earlier race suits, as it is based on completely new technology built on a textile innovation. The word Primo means first in Italian.
The new Hyperforce™ fabric is tensoelastic (tension + elasticity): firm yet flexible. Primo combines the highest compression, durability and a completely new kind of stretch throughout. It feels comfortable to wear and does not restrict movement.
The Hyperforce™ fabric has a flow-guiding surface that reduces water resistance and improves glide. The fabric is a naturally water-repellent TPU fibre, which further improves the suit's hydrodynamics and durability. Thanks to the material, the suit can be recycled at the end of its life.
Sturdy taping runs over the buttocks and the backs of the thighs inside the suit. The taping lifts the hips and legs, aids leg extension and helps maintain the correct swimming position when tired. The lift is especially noticeable during turns and the dolphin kick.
The stretchy jammer is easy to put on, which significantly speeds up race-day routines. Primo can be put on in five minutes, whereas a traditional competition suit could take up to 45 minutes. Even so, choose the same size as your previous arena competition suit or follow the size chart - the speed of putting it on does not indicate the correct fit. The flexible Primo is comfortable to wear yet still delivers top-class compression.
The jammer's waistband is elastic and adjustable in height, so you can wear it higher or lower to suit your preference. The elastic waist reduces pressure on the hips and on the suit's drawcords. The legs have been lengthened to improve glide, and a silicone gripper at the leg opening keeps them in place.

Care instructions: hand wash in cold water with mild soap after every use. Allow to dry naturally. Do not tumble dry.
