M Powerskin Primo Jammer - men's competition swimsuit
Primo is the world's first tenso-elastic competition swimsuit. It combines powerful compression with exceptional stretch in a completely new way. The suit supports the muscles while allowing plenty of freedom of movement. This versatile new suit suits every swimming stroke and distance.
The suit is the result of several years of development and research by Arena, carried out in close cooperation with top swimmers. It cannot be compared to previous race suits, as it is based on an entirely new technology rooted in textile innovation. The word Primo means "first" in Italian.
The new Hyperforce™ fabric is tenso-elastic (tension + elasticity); it is firm yet flexible. Primo combines the highest compression throughout, durability and a completely new kind of stretch. It feels pleasant to wear and does not restrict movement.
The Hyperforce™ fabric has a flow-guiding surface that reduces water resistance and improves glide. The fabric is naturally water-repellent TPU fibre, which further improves the suit's hydrodynamics and durability.
Sturdy taping runs inside the suit over the back and the back of the thighs. The taping lifts the hips and legs, makes it easier to extend the leg and maintain the correct swimming position when tired. The lift of the taping is especially noticeable during turns and the dolphin kick.
The flexible jammer is easy to put on, which significantly speeds up race-day routines. Primo can be put on in five minutes, whereas putting on a traditional competition swimsuit could take up to 45 minutes. Even so, choose the same size as your previous Arena competition swimsuit or follow the size chart - how quickly the suit goes on does not indicate the right fit. The flexible Primo is comfortable to wear while still providing top-class compression.
The jammer's waist is elastic and its height can be adjusted. You can wear the waist high or lower according to your preference. The elastic waist reduces pressure on the hips and the suit's drawstrings. Length has been added to the legs to improve glide, and a silicone band at the leg opening keeps the leg in place.
