A very lightweight cap for hikers and travellers, with extensive sun protection.
The BUFF® Desert Cap is a versatile piece of headwear, well suited to scorching sun and protecting the skin from harmful UV rays. The cap is made of very light, quick-drying fabric that breathes well and wicks moisture away from the skin. The ripstop construction makes the fabric more durable.
The cap's 360° fabric protects the neck and nape exceptionally well from the sun. The two-part, overlapping shield improves air circulation under the fabric. The fabric can be kept closed at the front or snapped to the back of the cap, leaving the sun protection at the back and sides. It can also be rolled all the way up behind the cap or folded away underneath.
Semi-stiff brim with slots for sunglasses on top. Laser-cut holes on the sides of the cap improve air circulation. The reflective backing of the BUFF® logo improves the wearer's visibility in low light. Adjustable size.
80% of the cap's materials are recycled.

The factory also holds the ISO 14001 environmental certificate and the SGE 21 ethical and social responsibility certificate. The electricity used in production is generated from renewable natural resources.
